Community Engagement Course Development Grants (RFP)
CE Retreat 2009
Our facilitator: Lina Dostilio directs the Office of Service-Learning at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In this capacity she supports faculty in many aspects of service-learning implementation: course design, community partnership development, and documenting the scholarship of such teaching and learning. Lina is the co-founder of the Southwestern PA Regional Network for the Growth of Service-Learning; serves on the board of directors for the International Association for Research on Service-Learning and Community Engagement; and has published and presented on service-learning in regional, statewide, and national venues. Her research interests include the measurement of community impact and professionalization of the administrator's role. She is very excited to return to the wilds of West Virginia, citing the Monongahela National Forest as one of her favorite local camping and hiking locations.
