RESULTS is a new organization to the campus of West Virginia Wesleyan College.  RESULTS is a non-profit/non-partisan political organization based out of Washington, D.C  A few of their past campaigns include:

• Healthly Families: for those families that are poverty stricken, to provide health coverage for America’s 9 million uninsured children.
• Education for All: making primary child education free by 2015.  Work to eliminate school fees and to increase U.S. investment in basic education in the poorest countries.
• Economic Opportunity: working to promote the micro credit movement worldwide.  Also, to address the asset and income gaps in the U.S. with fair tax policies and cutting-edge asset-building programs like Individual Development Accounts.
• Empowering Citizens: reviving democracy to create health, hope, and opportunity for all.  This is where volunteers and members of RESULTS organizations will work together to write letters to their congressional members and encourage them to promote these issues.
