What is "VISTA"?

"VISTA" stands for Volunteers In Service To America. It is a national service program that has focused on fighting poverty in the United States for more than 40 years. In a network of WV college and university institutions, Wesleyan VISTAs not only work with faculty, staff and students to strengthen the connection between higher education and community engagement, but they also help foster quality relationships with our community partners, whether they be local, regional, national or global organizations.
